So much thought goes into planning food for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but those holidays are just two days in an entire two-month season of festivities. I for one, want more holiday dishes, so I can bring some festive cheer to the regular ol’ middle of the week dinner or weekend breakfast. So here is a list of recipes I love, that will add a hint of the yuletide season to the days surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas…and you may just love one so much that you work it into your official holiday table menu.
This one is hard to stop eating. Bring this to a party and you will make friends.
Fresh cranberries really make these stand out.
As flavorful as it is pretty!
It’s not fair how good these are.
One of my favorite soups. The fennel seed gives it a unique twist.
Beets make this the perfect holiday red
The photo and recipe are probably straight out of 1992, but it is seriously 21st century delicious. An apple pie/cheesecake fusion.
This dessert is stupid easy to make, and taste fancy-schmancy and impressive. Serve in martini glasses for an extra touch of sparkle.
